Smart Energy GB ranked by Campaign Magazine as a ‘Best Place to Work’ 2018
Smart Energy GB, the voice of the smart meter rollout, has been ranked as one of the country’s ‘50 Best Places to Work’ by Campaign magazine.
The award is in recognition of Smart Energy GB as being an outstanding employer, combining excellent personal and professional development and workplace satisfaction.
Smart Energy GB is responsible for communicating with every single household in Great Britain during the national rollout of smart meters: an inspiring challenge, tasked with engaging consumers on the transformation that smart meters will bring – accurate bills, an to estimates, the ability to eliminate energy waste at home and lower bills as well revolutionising our energy grid to ensure that the lights stay on across Great Britain.
Smart meters are being offered to everyone in Great Britain between now and 2020, at no additional cost. Nearly 8.6 million have already been installed as part of a national transformation of the way we buy and use gas and electricity.
As an organisation with a limited lifespan, Smart Energy GB has unique challenges surrounding recruitment and retention that is balanced using a blend of training packages, wellness activities and vibrant working environment.
