Our energy system is undergoing a transition into one that is more flexible and better prepared to respond to future demands for energy. How this could impact energy use and bills will likely be at the forefront of many of your constituents’ minds.
The Smart Energy Academy is designed to help you better understand smart meters and the energy system through a programme of webinars, guides and other practical resources. Over the coming months, we’ll be updating the Smart Energy Academy website with handy resources for you to use within your team, as well as shareable content you can use when communicating with your constituents.

Who are Smart Energy GB?
Smart Energy GB is the not-for-profit consumer engagement campaign supporting the smart meter rollout in England, Scotland and Wales. It’s our role to help households and small businesses to understand the benefits of smart meters for them – such as helping them identify areas they could be more efficient or access new flexible tariffs and schemes – and how they’re helping to upgrade our energy system and make more efficient use of our energy sources.
